Committee Reports Membership
has been dropping slightly over the last couple of years. For the
club to remain viable, it must retain a certain number of members to
meet financial requirements, events, etc. A motion was made and

Craig, Treasurer) (Terry Merrill, Secretary)
Lock the gate...please be sure to lock the
gate securely by giving the lock tumblers a few spins upon closing
the clasp. Otherwise the lock can be pulled open. February 24th
will be the club pylon race. Anyone that can help should contact
the President for information.
New Business More time and
meeting space is needed for our club meetings. Currently we only
have approximately 45 minutes to do everything. President Hostetler
has some new ideas on a more interesting meeting format but a more
suitable facility is required. If you have any ideas or suggestions
please contact Jack. A motion was made and seconded to accept the
date of July 14, 2007 for having the Club 40 Race. The distribution
of club minutes was discussed. Not all members have computers and
thus cannot receive the monthly report. The minutes are available
at the field but many are apparently not aware of this. A
suggestion was made to do a general one time mailing to all
members asking if they would like to receive their copy of the
minutes mailed to them. Those with computers would not need this.
The club would then only mail the minutes to those
members requesting this service. A motion was made and seconded to
do this. About 50% have computer access. An older HB .61 glow
engine was auctioned off during the meeting. After "intense?? "
bidding, Ralph Savino wound up purchasing the engine with an offer
of $12.
Adjourned A motion was made
and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:39 P.M.
