June 17, 2010 SES Meeting Minutes
Leesburg Community Center
- The meeting was called to order at 1900 hours by President Don Neal.
- This is the last meeting until September.
- Twenty two members were present.
- The minutes of the May meeting were approved as distributed.
- The Treasurers report was approved as given.
- Membership stands at 136.
- Don Baisden, Field Committee Chairman urged the mowing teams to leave the grass in front of the flight stations long in order to hinder errant aircraft.
- The leaf blower is at end of life and will be replaced.
- In the Safety Committee report it was noted that there was an increased awareness of safety. The Safety Officers are Jim Soltysiak, Pratt Carter, Ed Popp, and Jack Hoffstettler.
- The entrance road was discussed with no conclusions being made.
- Under New Business, there was a motion to purchase a new leaf blower. This was seconded and passed .
- With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 1940 hours.
- Gene Davis won the 50/50.
