June 19, 2008 SES Meeting Minutes
Leesburg Community Center 

Call to order:  7:00 P.M - 10 members were present -  not representing a quorum for regular business.

 Sec. Report:  Terry Merrill not present.  Jack Hostetler recorded minutes.

 Treas. Report:  Tom Craig – Report given to members present.  If you have questions regarding club finances, please feel free to contact Tom.   

Membership Report:  Ralph Savino – The current paid membership for 2008 thus far is 146.  

NOTICE… There will be no club meetings during the months of July and August.   

 50/50:  Drawing won by Pratt Carter.

 Tech Session:  The tech session was presented by Jack Hostetler, Don Baisden with assistance by Pratt Carter.  Jack brought a fuselage from a PT-26 .40 size from the Wings Maker and received some advice on how to fit the cowling.  Don Baisden showed a replica of a 1960’s model he is equipping with a Galloping Ghost system he has restored.  Don recalled a brief history of the evolution of RC control systems from the pre-Galloping Ghost era to the present, assisted by Pratt Carter.
