Treas. Report  The treasurer's report was given by Tom Craig.  The club is in good financial condition.  The new shelter will be the last large expense.

Membership Report  Ralph Savino reported that the club has 148 paid up members to date.  Sales of the new club hats are going well.

Field Safety  Dave Woodward reported that there are still some problems with spectators and children straying near the planes.  Please advise these people to stay behind the fences.  New signs have been erected to help with this.  Also, once the engine is running please carry or hang on to your plane until you are beyond the pit area and ready for take off.  Do not taxi in the pit or flight station area!!

Field Manager  Freq. issues.  A new pin board will be available soon to provide freq. control.  Please remove the appropriate channel pin and attach it to your antenna when flying.  Return it to the board when your flight is finished.

New Business  A motion was made and seconded to erect additional safety fences behind the flight line.  After discussion a vote was taken.  The motion failed with 3 for and 12 against.  Also, regarding the use of channel pins for freq. control as opposed to just using an AMA membership card or club membership card placed at the freq. board under the appropriate channel number...it was decided by a vote of 13 to 5 in favor of using the individual pins designated with the channel number.  A motion was made and seconded to change porta-pottie companies to reduce expenses.  ( $11.00/month savings)  Passed.
The status of the club's certificates of deposit (4) was discussed.  They are set up to mature and renew approximately every month (at least one CD) so that funds would be available without penalty for emergency purposes.  It was decided to continue with this schedule.
