November 8, 2007 Meeting Minutes
Leesburg Community Center
Call to order: 7:02 P.M. - 35
Members present.
Sec. Report: October minutes were
approved by vote.
Treas. Report: Tom Craig - The
treasurer's report was reviewed and approved by the attending membership.
Membership Report: Ralph Savino -
The club stands at 158 paid members. SES dues are to be paid not later than
January 15, 2008. AMA dues should be paid by January 1, 2008. SES
membership cards or "year stickers" will not be issued until 2008 AMA
membership cards are in the possession of renewing members.
Field Safety: Dave Woodward - No
issues
Field Manager: Don Baisden - Shelter
canopies are holding up well although some minor repairs will need to be
made. The club may also need to bring in some stone fill for the drive-in
area of the N/S runway. This is a low area and collects water making a
muddy situation at times.
New Business: Jack Hostetler -
New tech sessions are in the works for the next few months. Please note: Dec. - Hidden Radio Problems

- 2.4 ghz. radio comparison / Futaba vs.
Spektrum

November Tech Session: An excellent
program and introduction to
Excell helicopters and helio's in general was presented by
Pete Campbell of the Miniature Aircraft Co.

Saturday December 8th at the Recreation Plantation on CR 466 just East of
Rolling Acres Rd., Lady Lake. Starts at 8:00 A.M.
