Call To Order:
7:00 P.M. - 16 Members present. 1 new member Jack Palumbo
Secretary and President were not present, the meeting was called to order by
VP Harry Hovorka
Sec. Report: September minutes were
approved as posted by vote.
Treas. Report: Tom Craig - The
treasurers report was reviewed and approved. Any questions should be
directed to Tom.
Membership Report: Ralph Savino -
There are 149 paid members to date. IMPORTANT... All club
members must have their AMA dues paid by Jan. 1, 2009 and their SES
dues paid by Jan. 15, 2009. Please take care of these obligations ASAP.
You will not be issued an SES membership card without a current AMA card in
your possession. You will be asked not to fly at the SES field until you've
become a current member with a valid membership card. Starting with 2009 all
officers will also pay dues in the past they were excluded.
Field Safety: Both safety
officers were absent
Field Manager: Don Baisden -
Great shap. Canopy on North - South been reinstalled and the pipes and bolts
have been removed from the cement slab to get ready for new shelter.
New Business: Tom Craig
requested the OK to purchase a new self propelled push mower, the body
requested us to get some prices.
IMPORTANT - IMPORTANT Please
spin the gate lock tumblers after you open or close the field gate. The
only time the combination should be visible is when you actually open
the lock, not before or after.

50/50 Drawing - $23.00 to Club and ?
Tech Session: - Bon Baisden led a
discussion on methods to properly find CG's and other balance points for
different style and shaped wings
