Call To Order:
7:00 P.M. - 17 Members present.
Sec. Report: September minutes were
approved by vote.
Treas. Report: Tom Craig - The
treasurers report was reviewed and approved. Any questions should be
directed to Tom.
Membership Report: Ralph Savino -
There are 156 paid members to date. IMPORTANT... All club
members must have their AMA dues paid by Jan. 1, 2008 and their SES
dues paid by Jan. 15, 2008. Please take care of these obligations ASAP.
You will not be issued an SES membership card without a current AMA card in
your possession. You will be asked not to fly at the SES field until you've
become a current member with a valid membership card.
Field Safety: Dave Woodward - No
report.
Field Manager: Don Baisden - Repair
patch on shelter canopy seems to be holding. However, the bungee cords
securing the canopy will have to be replaced soon due to deterioration.
New Business: Jack Hostetler - The
December 8th Swap Meet at the Recreation Plantation is well underway. Help
has been secured for most of the jobs necessary for the meet to function.
If you have questions regarding this event please see Jack. Also,
for the
tech session at the November 8th club meeting, a factory rep from Miniature
Aircraft Inc. Mr. Pete Campbell will be
discussing R/C helicopters.
IMPORTANT - IMPORTANT Please
spin the gate lock tumblers after you open or close the field gate. The
only time the combination should be visible is when you actually open
the lock, not before or after.

Tech Session: - Jack Hostetler led a
discussion on methods to properly clean an engine after a less than perfect
landing or crash.
