Directions

Southern Eagle Squadron is conveniently located right outside The Villages near the Sumter/Lake County line – 0.9 mi south of County Road 466 and Rolling Acres Road. Like many R/C clubs, SES was built on an old landfill, just south of the current Lake County Transfer station. This arrangement provides a sizeable area for most line-of-sight flight operations.

Southern Eagle Squadron Location

Head south on Rolling Acres Road from CR 466. Southern Eagle Squadron is on a private road approx 0.9 miles on the LEFT. It comes on you fast. You will see a Private Road sign, a fire hydrant, and the large SES sign. SES is in a gated area a short distance in on the left. If the gate is closed, it means there are no members present (only members have gate access). Generally, you will find members present most mornings.
