We're getting a new runway!At the Sept 5 meeting, it was decided to move forward with a major renovation of the runway, to address the dangerous washouts. We're getting a clay foundation instead of the gravel that washed out, with an improved waterproof membrane and runway fabric.And the best part -- IT'S GOING TO BE BIGGER! 300 feet total and five feet wider!
